Privacy Policy
Last updated: 16 September 2026 · version 1.0
1. Who we are
DataMail (“Service”) is a web application at https://datamail.eosoperatingsystem.com that lets users voluntarily add a verified email to a shared database and export available records as CSV.
2. What data we collect
- Google account data for sign-in: unique ID (sub), verified email, name and avatar (if provided by Google). We use official Google OAuth 2.0 / OpenID Connect with scopes openid, email, profile.
- We do not obtain access to Gmail, messages, contacts, Drive, or passwords.
- Contribution data: email, user-selected country, consent timestamp/version, IP address, User-Agent, optional fingerprint hash, and (if configured) an IP country hint — only as a technical check, never replacing your choice.
- Export logs: who, when, which countries, row count, IP.
3. Purpose of processing
- Authentication and preventing duplicate accounts.
- Maintaining a shared database of voluntarily provided emails by country.
- Providing export to authorized participants.
- Abuse protection (rate limiting, anti-duplication, audit).
4. Who can access the data
Email and country name from active records may be available to other signed-in Service users via CSV export (Email and Country columns) after they add their own email and give consent. Technical logs and Google IDs are not included in CSV exports.
5. Legal basis / consent
Adding an email to the database happens only after explicit consent on the add form. You may remove your record and revoke consent at any time with the button in your account.
6. Storage and security
Data is stored in MySQL/MariaDB. The app uses HTTPS (in production), secured sessions, CSRF tokens, prepared SQL (PDO), and request rate limits. Secrets are kept only in server-side .env.
7. Google API Services
Use of information received from Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including Limited Use requirements. We do not use Google data for advertising and do not sell it.
8. Contact
For privacy questions, contact the operator of https://datamail.eosoperatingsystem.com (add a support email here before public launch).
